Shout out to our awesome client Robi.
Robi has been a loyal Barnes Active client since very early on in our journey. She always comes to the gym with a big smile on her face, gives it her all and is so much fun to train.
Robi is always up for the challenge of trying out a new exercise. Her hard work and consistency showed when she hit a new PB by lifting 70kg for 2 reps.
Great job Robi.

Zac has been training at Barnes Active since the garage days. He is an advocate for helping those who need extra support and struggle to access commercial services.
BBC News came to visit Zac during one of his PT sessions at the gym and were inspired by his incredible journey. We are proud of have been a part of that!
Check out the full story here.
Keep up the great work, Zac! You have shown so many people that additional needs should not be a barrier to exercise and that exercise can be fun. You are a true inspiration to all of us

Meet Sasha, one of our awesome members at Barnes Active. Every week she shows up and works her socks off. She's also pretty good at picking the tunes. We love coaching her!
Here's what Sasha had to say about her sessions:
"I've been training with Harrison for 4 years, this is the longest I've ever stayed with the same coach and remained consistent with exercise!
My sessions are so important for me especially now that I'm 50. Last week, after training at the gym before doing a 12-hour night shift, I felt like I was gliding throughout the entire shift! That's the positive impact it has for me."

Izzy joined our gym at the beginning of the year (2025) to help with her motor control and sensory regulation. On her first visit, she said she thought she could learn how to do three exercises. Within a week of sessions, she had already smashed this target.
Every session she adds to the repertoire of things she can do, learning new skills we were not sure were possible when she started. This includes pulling the prowler with both hands working independently in a 1-2 rhythm, something she could not do a few weeks before.
She continues to amaze us with her fantastic progression, and determination to improve her times and weights.
We can’t wait to see what else she is going to achieve on her fitness journey with us, but we know whatever it is it will inspire us all.
